The bride-to-be is the daughter of Dawn and Martin Flaherty, Kingston and David and Theresa Searfoss, Wilkes-Barre. She is the granddaughter of Josephine Yelland, Wilkes-Barre, Thomas Yelland, Wilkes-Barre, David and Patricia Searfoss, Wilkes-Barre, the late Martin and Dolores Flaherty and the late Edwin and Irene Height.
