Swoyersville votes Kingston ambulance as primary provider

Trans-Med Ambulance has long been the first dispatched to calls in the borough requiring advanced life support, but that changes next year when the Kingston/Forty Fort Fire Department takes over. At a special meeting Monday night, Swoyersville Council voted 6-0 to accept a proposal by Kingston Firemen's Community Ambulance to become the borough's primary ambulance provider.
