KINGSTON - The Luzerne County Transportation Authority on Friday took delivery of two buses that run on compressed natural gas, or CNG, which LCTA officials say will provide both cost savings and environmental benefits. The new buses - the first the authority has received since 2013 - bring the authority's fleet of fixed route buses to 40, according to a news release issued by LCTA.
