Yom Ha'atzmaut will be celebrated at the Jewish Community Alliance, 60 S. River St., Wilkes-Barre, at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 2. Featured speaker is Alon Ben Gurion, grandson of Israel's founding father and first prime minister David Ben Gurion. Ben Gurion will speak on "Israel Celebrating 70 Years" and "Reflections on my Grandfather".
