St. Patrick's Parade returns to downtown Wilkes-Barre to celebrate Irish culture and camaraderie

The 38th annual parade steps off at 2 p.m. at South and South Main streets, with participants lining up in their designated spots at 1 p.m. Eighty groups will march this year, totaling around 1,200 participants, according to Patty Hughes, Wilkes-Barre city special events coordinator.
