There will be a benefit from 2 to 6 p.m. today at Murphy's Pub, 347 Slocum St., Swoyersville, to help the family with rising medical and travel expenses. The theme of the benefit is 'Benefit for Betsy: Love Will Keep Us Alive', one of Betsy's favorite Eagles songs that is often performed by her husband's band, The Music Room.
