A former Geisinger Health System doctor was hit with a civil lawsuit Wednesday alleging he "gnawed" and "licked" the ears and cheek of a minor student he was supposed to mentor. The complaint alleges Dr. Abraham Joseph Layon engaged in a pattern of inappropriate conduct with the girl, who is not identified in the lawsuit filed in Luzerne County court.
