A man assaulted a woman in Wilkes-Barre when she confronted him moments before he stole her vehicle, police said. The woman reported to police that she pulled into the parking lot of Mesko Glass on North River Street around 4 p.m. Thursday and got out of her car, leaving her car keys in the center console of the vehicle and the windows down.
